| Position: Estimator - Building Construction |
Description: Responsibilities
• Maintain orderly schedules, files & records of all bid requests & drawings
• Create specs records for standards & options for ea. project
• Review bid requirements thoroughly & ask pertinent questions
• Possess thorough understanding of scope for specific trades assigned
• Create bid lists to ensure that we are aligning the right subs with every project, & building long term relationships
• Solicit & qualify vendors & subcontractors. Maintain effective communication with ea.
• Display resourcefulness to gain better pricing from vendors & subs.
• Interact professionally with architects & engineers
• Identify permits & accompanying costs required for ea. project
• Devise project bids
• Double check all deliverables before sharing them externally
• Ensure all deadlines are met
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction mngt.
• Min. of 10 yrs related work experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver licens
