Description: Responsibilities
• Comprehend blueprint readings.
• Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass and/or drywall.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements.
• Measure & mark cutting lines on materials.
• Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, sanders, levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares & other hand tools to repair and erect structures.
• Join materials with nails, screws, bolts, staples & adhesives.
• Complete the following tasks: stain-grade trim work, hang doors, drill & set door hardware, install partitions, set windows, layout for stairs & common rafters, read blueprints, erect scaffolding, utilize appropriate math skills.
• Check completed work units to be sure they are level, square, plumb & the right size, shape & location, & are up to code & specs.
• Follow established safety rules & regs & maintain a safe & clean environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Min of 10 yrs carpentry experience.
• Valid driver
