Description: Desired Previous Experience: $5M - 10M annual revenues corporation Reports to: CEO or his designate Position summary: Responsible for stringent management of firm’s cash outflow.
Responsibilities
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prioritize all invoices according to due date, payment terms and cash discount potential.
• Process payment requests.
• Audit and process all company credit card bills.
• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures based on signing levels of authority, and disperse payments accordingly.
• Respond to all vendor/supplier inquiries regarding payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
• Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms, when necessary.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly/year end closings.
• Maintain records and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
