Description: Peoplesource is working with an established and growing local company in Barrie looking for a talented Accounting Clerk to join their team. This busy company is seeking someone with exceptional organizational skills, who enjoys a high volume of work and is recognized for accuracy and attention to detail.
In this role you will be assisting the accounting team with bookkeeping, billing, posting, credit memos, and various other accounting functions. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for the right candidate. The position requires someone who has solid experience in accounting, and who excels in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be on a temporary basis for 3-4 months, with potential for permanent hire.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in bookkeeping or general accounting role – minimum 3 years
• Strong computer skills MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Detailed orientated with strong data entry skills.
